TRAINING OF FOREIGN CITIZENS AT THE UNIVERSITY
At the preparatory department
Foreign citizens who do not speak the language of tuition (Ukrainian or English) can learn it at the preparatory department for one year. Training is carried out in the following areas: engineering, biomedical, economic and humanitarian.
During the course, foreign students study Ukrainian or English, regional Geography, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Computer science, Biology and other disciplines depending on the chosen specialty.
At the end of the academic year the foreign students take finals. In case of obtaining the positive results, students receive a “Certificate of Completion of the Preparatory Department for Foreign Citizens.”
Undergraduate and graduate programs
For foreign citizens, the University provides professional, scientific and practical training in order to obtain an educational degree of Bachelor and Master. The term of study is 4 years and 1.5 years resp. Training is carried out in Ukrainian and English.
Postgraduate education
Foreign citizens can attend postgraduate and doctoral studies at the University if they have a Master’s degree and demonstrate their ability in research and scientific work. To obtain the degree of Candidate of Science (PhD) or Doctor of Science (DSc) it is necessary to prepare and defend a thesis. Term of training is 4 years.
